Now that my stint with the PTSA is coming to an end, I'm looking for other groups to join and I'm looking ahead about 4 years when I think I'll be in a good place (kid wise) to go back to work.  I am interested in politics (obviously) and law so I was thinking maybe a low key job in those fields.  Paralegal, not lawyer or clerk not elected official ( Read more... )

Ah summer, I love it so much, yet at the same time if I had to trade it for year-round school I wouldn't even hesitate.  I'm not a fan of the summer slide.  In years past I've gotten the kids bridge books and had them read 20 minutes a day but they didn't like it and we usually stopped doing it midway through.  Because I am lazy ( Read more... )

When we went to the Royal Gorge for Spring Break, T-8 asked me if they let teenagers go there.  When I told her yes, she said, "Good, when me and PuppyLove start dating, I'm going to take him here."

A few weeks ago, she and PuppyLove ran up to me on the playground.
